The First Fall Might Be The Last

28 Sep 2025

We often pass a dead crow, pigeon or seagull lying on the ground indifferently, without enough empathy to imagine ourselves lying on the ground in its place. But what if we are the next ones who end up lying sadly on the asphalt, in a flower bed, or on the tram tracks?

GEN SIN Fall 2025 collection "The First Fall Might Be The Last" is designer Jürgen Sinnep's debut collection that takes its inspiration from the fleeting nature of time, the running through of it, and the unexpected interruption of the present. It reflects on a person's readiness for their final swan dive and how this changes over time, without them realizing of their last day and the garment they will be wearing in that exact moment.

GEN SIN is designer Jürgen Sinnep's work in progress leather accessories brand mainly focusing on footwear, bag and headwear designs. His work is usually driven by provocation, breaking down and playing around with pre-set boundaries and beliefs, replacing them with his own inner vision.
