On Thursday, April 3, Trickster launched its debut print publication — Trickster Magazine Issue 01 — with an event at Sanga Sandwich Bar in the heart of Tallinn’s Rotermann Quarter.
The evening started with a panel discussion featuring Trickster Magazine Editor-in-Chief Anne Vetik, Cultural Editor Peeter Kormašov, and Püant Publishing Co-Founder Elisa-Johanna Liiv. Together, they explored the question “Why paper?” in a digital culture shaped by the 8-second attention span, unpacking the role of independent publishing today and why physical media still matters.
The crowd — a mix of artists, writers, designers, thinkers, and Trickster allies — filled the space wall to wall. As the panel wrapped, the atmosphere shifted from conversation to celebration. Music, curated in collaboration with Tallinn Music Week, featured live sets by San Hani and Metabora, with DJ Micacsan closing the night with a genre-defying set that turned the sandwich bar into a dance floor.
Aperol Spritz flowed freely, helping fuel the night’s energy, while our event partners Ballzy and adidas helped bring the creative scene together under one roof.
More than just a launch, the night served as a signal — Trickster is here to shake things up.
