Kristopher Luigend (Haigla Pidu) lives on the right side of the rail tracks, is a man of style and substance, and sure knows how to make you dance.
In the wake of Friday night, Trickster is excited to share Kris' wisdom on things big and small.
SUBSTANCE
How do you stay true to yourself? If you don’t lose yourself completely, your chances of staying true to who you are are pretty good.
How do you get people to dance?First, you have to get yourself dancing. And if you’re really lucky, someone else might join in. But maybe not.
Who do you play music for?For those who actually want to listen.
Japan or Georgia? That’s one of the toughest questions I’ve ever been asked. I have a very close connection to Georgia, but I only recently made a brief acquaintance with Japan. Let time decide.
Who or what is Entire Chicken? That’s the name of the radio show I host on IDA. It’s also the name of a dish translated on the menu of ARGO, a family-friendly Georgian restaurant. "Entire Chicken."I think it’s a very fitting name — simple and neutral, with just the right tone.
STYLE AND MUSIC
Because it’s morning, because there’s coffee, and because of sleepy eyes. The perfect tune to wake up with for the day ahead.I regret not thinking to put on my bathrobe.
When there’s a lone blue horse standing in the middle of the apple orchard in the backyard, there’s only one song that can start playing in your head. I’m convinced it’s the last one!
A little tune from the Heat movie soundtrack, playing during the big bank robbery scene, when the bandits walked out in suits in broad daylight, crunching as they went.
That scene is super precise and incredibly tense. And suits have always seemed tense to me too.
Statistically, this is probably the least sold IDA Radio merch - guess no one’s brave enough to rock pink. So I’ve taken on that heavy burden myself, carrying it on my weary shoulders.
No need to look for connections between the song and the outfit… but you can, if you want.
Just watched a documentary about a UK band called Wham! and it was obviously awesome.I’m thinking, with this shirt, all the drinks should basically be free.
I like tennis. And this song too.
