WORK IN PROGRESS

15 Jan 2026

Work enters the art hall.
Still warm. Still unpaid.

Grass cut. Sweat dried. Algae blooming.
Survival, once. Ritual, now.

Fabrics show up already tired.
Bleached. Stained. Handled.
Leather pretending to be grass.
Knit remembering every hour.

Inside Kai Art Centre, the body pauses –
not finished, not resting.
The sky cries.
Nobody clocks out.

Work continues.

‘On Fragile Grounds. Sirje Runge and Light’ is on view at Kai Art Centre until 22.02.
